Description

The "Desetinec" historically served as a space where the tithe of crops collected from the peasants was stored, which they were required to give to the Church each year. Today, it houses archaeological findings from the area of Vrbnik.

It is worth viewing the religious paintings and sculptures from the former churches and chapels of Vrbnik, as well as artifacts from the archaeological collection of the local parish priest, Nikola Butković. He sought prehistoric remains in the surrounding area of Vrbnik, including stone axes, knives, and small pottery from the Stone Age, as well as Illyrian jewelry from the Metal Age.
