Beach Sv. Marek

Sv. Marek is the only sandy beach on the island of Krk, located 6 km from Vrbnik, near the village of Risika, in a cove named after the Church of St. Mark, the remains of which you can visit close to the beach.

The beach offers sunbathing areas on fine sand and nearby meadows, as well as cafés, boat moorings at the breakwater, parking, toilets, and showers.

It is possible to rent pedal boats, sun loungers, and umbrellas.

This beach is a favorite spot for families with children.

In July, an amateur swimming marathon, 3100 meters long, is traditionally held here, organized by enthusiasts from Risika, with the starting point in the Vrbnik harbor.
